With the conventional 1K trickle process, a high-temperature curing oven (>110 °C) is essential – making it an enormous energy consumer.

2K Wicking breaks with this principle:

  • Pre-heating at only 60–80 °C instead of >110 °C → less energy
  • No high-temperature gelling/curing in the oven required
  • Two-component epoxy resin – the reaction starts when the components are mixed
  • Up to 75% less energy consumption compared to the 1K trickling process
